Designation recognizes collaboration in technology development, market growth and public safety thought leadership
McLean, Va. (October 13, 2026) — The Monitoring Association (TMA) announced that Tyler Technologies has earned Platinum Partner status with its Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) Service. The designation recognizes Tyler’s contributions to ASAP development, collaboration on sales and growth initiatives, and thought leadership supporting adoption of automated alarm delivery in emergency communications centers (ECCs).
Tyler’s partnership with TMA advances ASAP integration with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, expands awareness of the service, and educates public safety leaders on the benefits of automated alarm processing. These efforts support TMA’s goal of making ASAP a standard component of ECC operations, reducing manual alarm entry and freeing telecommunicators to focus on other critical responsibilities.
“Helping emergency communications teams make the most of their technology and staff is central to our work,” said Jessica Long, Head of Public Safety Partnerships at Tyler Technologies. “Our partnership with TMA brings together technology development, customer engagement and industry education to make automated alarm delivery more accessible. We’re proud to earn Platinum Partner status and to support ASAP’s continued growth across the public safety community.”
“Tyler Technologies has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving public safety technology,” said Whitney Doll, TMA chief executive officer. “Their Platinum Partner status recognizes the value of those contributions and our shared commitment to expanding access to automated alarm delivery for emergency communications centers nationwide.”
Tyler Technologies now offers an application programming interface (API) that enables a direct connection between the vendor’s CAD systems and ASAP Service. This approach reduces implementation time by at least 50 percent.
ASAP Service has proven to be a highly valuable addition to any ECC’s technology ecosystem because it digitally delivers notifications generated by alarm-monitoring companies directly into an ECC’s CAD system without involving 911 telecommunicators, saving considerable time and significantly reducing errors. The result is faster and better emergency response. This lets the time saved go to higher-priority incidents that require telecommunicators’ unique expertise and experience, or to helping them decompress, which is critical given the high-stress environments in which they work.
